When Later Turns Into Never

It is easier to find a reason to delay something until the time is right than to actually do it.

My Story:
I dreamed about being an artist, but the time wasn’t right. This went on for years. Then I asked myself –

What is the right time anyway?

How will I even recognize the right time?

I would like to propose that there is actually no right time. You will never feel ready and the conditions won’t ever be perfect. If you are willing enough, every time is the right time.

Little things I did to start:
Squished my art into tiny pockets of time.
Validated my feelings and dreams as
important instead of indulgent.
Began hanging out with people who were living my dream and copied their habits.
Started calling myself an artist and wore it proudly without embarrassment.

I found that if I changed, then everything around me changed.

Summing it Up:
The things that are easy to do are also easy not to do. So, do not neglect to do the easy things you can do.

It is the smaller opportunities that come together to form a mighty one.

It’s up to you to decide whether you have the time in this moment.

Start by changing your mind.
